By painting dirty siding, you seriously shorten your paint’s lifespan. it’s a good idea to get it right the first time. You would rather paint your house every 7 years instead of every 3 or 4 years. Invest the extra time in thoroughly cleaning the siding to boost the lifespan.
Depending on the project. We will guide you through the steps of what is required from you before we start.
No. There is no need to have anybody at home for outside work (unless we need to paint doors and windows and they need to be unlocked). However, for interior painting, we will need access to the inside. It’s very commom for clients to leave the kyes with us in order to perform the work while owners are out. We consider it a privilege to be invited to your home and our professionals view your living space as their own and treats it as so!
Drop cloths are used underneath all areas being painted. Walkways, furniture, shrubbery are all covered during painting.
Yes! The rule of thumb is that, given proper surface preparation, for exterior use you can apply quality latex paint over oil-based, but not the reverse. However, if you have many layers of oil based paint, stick to using oil on oil. For interior use, generally you can use one over the other.

Wood siding should be repainted every three to seven years, or stained approximately every four years. Aluminum siding can go about five years between paint jobs, and stucco five to six years. Newer types of materials require less frequent touchups; for example, cement fiberboard siding should need painting only about once in 10-15 years. The only upkeep for unpainted brick is cleaning, although you will need to paint the trim, of course. If you do choose to paint the brick itself, a good quality job will last 15-20 years.
It is of utmost importance to us that we keep an open line of communication with you before, during, and after your project. You’ll be able to contact our manager or crew leader at any time to adress any concerns or answer any questions you may have.
